Reading, Writing and Sharing Experiences
I have enjoyed reading articles about different learning styles of our students. Unfortunately teachers do not pay much attention to this issue in my country. That is why I am going to write an article about it with my own experiences and the examples, presented by the colleagues of this course in the nearest future.This week was also important for me because the Pedagogical Council of our school was held. 100 teachers of different subjects participated in it. It was devoted to the new technologies in education and I shared my experiences of doing the Oregon University course there. I prepared a PPP with my project and spoke about the experiences of my classmates from different countries.
My students and I also continued to work on our project – we were writing comments to the news which we have published in the Internet. All the kids were highly motivated to do it.

ОтветитьУдалитьI hope you got good responses from your colleagues about the course and its potential. Learning styles are becoming more and more widespread among teachers here although not enough, yet. On the other hand I did not yet encounter someone who addresses the multiple intelligence and combines them.
I hope this will help me with my students.

I think that you do so many wonderful stuff. Your students are fortunate. By the way - the Cinderella show that was to be performed in the hospital - was it in English? Did you translate it for the kids?

Your students in the pictures look happy with learning experience organized by teachers. Your post inspires me to do something...

ОтветитьУдалитьThank you very much for your comments. The Cinderella show is in Russian because children in the hospital don't know English and unfortunetely, some children are so little that don't go to school yet.
After the presentation some teachers were puzzled, some asked me for the URL of my site, some sent me e-mails in which they asked me to help them. The teachers liked the quotations from our discussions.
You are absolutely right saying that my kids look happy, they like the project very much.
